Managros is a quiet rural area just 3km from Volissos village. It is known for its spectacular beach stretching for nearly 2km with mostly pebbles, 'big' sand and clear, cool water. There are a few trees providing shade and, at the southern end, rocks give shade in the morning. At the northern end, a popular beach bar has bamboo umbrellas and long chairs. The beach here is sandy and more gently shelving.
The historic village of Volissos lies on the side of a hill topped by the ruins of a castle. The village has more amenities than other villages in the Amani region, including two main squares! The squares have most of the entertainment - cafenion, tavernas, bars and restaurants. Volissos also has two mini markets for all your basic shopping, a baker, post office, pharmacy, hairdresser, ATM and, hopefully not required, police station and doctor. There is an infrequent bus service to Chios town and, in summer, a ferry at the weekend to Psara from Limnia.
Managros Rooms is surrounded by countryside but is only 300m from the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing break or long term stay. The house is set in a large garden with olive and fruit trees. There are several unique features which may be used by guests, including the firepit, bbq, traditional outdoor oven and many areas to sit and relax in the shade or sun.

Thea is a bright studio at the top of the house with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. It has large terraces which are partly shaded.
Elia is on the upper ground floor, just below Thea. It is a two room apartment with a sunny kitchen/sitting room and a separate bedroom.
